Since I could walk. About 23 years.
At one point or another I've had every deck in the line up set up, but currently I'm rocking a proto DH deck (soon to be available!!) with 42 degree Arsenal Trucks and Ahmyo Wheels: Vibez, Akashas, Muktis, or Merkabas.
Biggest influences in skateboarding?
My biggest influences in skating have got to be all the homies on Fs. They all influence me in one way or another and all push me to the next level. Other people who influence both my skating and way of life are: Scott Lembach, Eduardo Cordero, Jason Salfi, Anthony Flis, Striker, Brady Brown, Eric Jensen, Max Wipperman, Nate Blackburn, and a few others.
Worst habit in skating: Changing my set up too often.
Worst habit in life: Smoking dem bogies.
Best memory Skateboarding?
Too many of them to honestly say. I'll name a few without going into too much detail: Backside flipping a 6 stair. Gorilla Style. Fs/NOCON Weekend. The Almost Homeless Tour. The Brothers GRIM. Too Stoked to Stay Woke. Danger Bay. Board Meeting!!! and just all those days chilling with homies in the summer sun and skating till night would fall and then some.
Either getting cased on a rail, breaking two ribs and getting a major concussion or falling at 50mph, dislocating my shoulder, tearing two ligaments and getting road rash down to bone in several places. Cant choose honestly.
Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
Running Fs, developing the brand and new boards, traveling around to events all over, meeting new people, living in NC with the homies even though it doesn't exist, and skating as much as possible.
Why do you skate?
I skate because its more than just the act of riding a plank of wood with some metal and urethane attached to it. Its about the vibes you receive from it, the people you meet through it, the rush you get from it, and the life you lead because of it. It's a life I would never change. Skateboarding is life.
I skated my first downhill run on a 26" long by 6" wide, solid poplar deck with no concave.
